Hi Matia,

I'm really sorry to hear that your problem has developed this far. At least in my case Will Falkoner was using my money to pay off his bad debt with Politecnic, so Politecnic had at least received my order and manufactured my parts, they just wouldn't deliver them to Will because of his debt.

I had many discussions with Will during the 8 months it took to get "other parts" out of him to the equal value of my money.

To sum up Will Falkoner, he is actually a fairly decent sounding bloke over the phone, but in my discussions with him he admitted having suffered a number of financial "setbacks". While I could sympathise with him, I wasn't prepared to let him keep my money! The tactic I adopted with him was to keep my cool at all times and to do my best to keep him on my side. So long as he saw me as a fairly nice guy I figured I could "guilt" him into doing the right thing. Of course this tactic only works on people who have a shred of moral decency at their core, and with Will I felt there was a glimmer of hope, and indeed eventually (after eight months) all came right. I only say this to give you some hope Matia that he may eventually do the right thing and return your money.

I also say this in the hope (and I know this is a long shot) that someone reading this, someone not too far from Bristol, will contact Will on your behalf and discuss the consequences of his actions with him. Will always struck me as the sort of person who, with the right amount of pressure applied in the right place, would do the right thing. In my opinion, he's not a very good thief. He will only steal your money so long as he knows there won't be any consequences to himself. And with you in Slovenija he obviously feels that this is the case. He felt the same way with me in South Africa - until I told him I am from the UK and regularly travel back on forth on business (this is the truth), and that I would pay him a visit if I had to. If someone in his neighbourhood were to contact him on your behalf and mention legal consequences to him, I think he'd be pretty quick to return your money (even if he has to borrow the money from his brother, Richard, again, which is what he did in my case).

To other forum members reading this, something has to be done to stop this nonsence from happening again. Otherwise Will Falkoner will just keep on doing exactly this to other R5T owners, making maintenance and restoration of these cars very difficult.

oh dear dosent sound good i hope things will work out only thing is to take legal action to reclaim money easier said than done politecnic should be made aware and stripped of his reseller bit only other thing to do is tell all sites and owners clubs not to use him

Sorry to hear about that, Yes Will has got some serious money problem, as I spoke aswell to Politecnic. Best thing to do is to fly to the uk with a cheap flight and go and pay him a visit........ I am sure it would be better to invest in £150 for a flight and get most of your money back.

As far as Politecnic goes I have heard they are a proper company and make items to a good standard.

Good Luck. ;)
